Forschung

Ich bin Wissenschaftler und m枚chte verstehen, wie die Biologie und Chemie der Ozeane durch Umweltver盲nderungen wie Verschmutzung und Klima beeinflusst werden. Ich verwende globale Erdsystem-Klimamodelle, um ihre Reaktion und die damit verbundenen R眉ckkopplungen auf das Klimasystem der Erde vorherzusagen. Meine Forschung konzentriert sich auf die Analyse und Interpretation von Elementar-Isotopenverh盲ltnissen, um Einblicke in den biogeochemischen Kreislauf der Meere und die 脰kosystemdynamik im modernen Ozean sowie w盲hrend vergangener Klimawandelereignisse zu gewinnen, die in Ozeansedimenten aufgezeichnet wurden. Dies hilft uns, die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die Meeresbiologie und -chemie besser zu verstehen und somit unsere Vorhersagen f眉r den zuk眉nftigen Ozean und das Klima zu verbessern.
